With the normal #ArchLinux #Linux #kernel 6.4.2, my laptop needs 21,745s to boot;

but with the #hardened #ArchLinux #Linux #kernel 6.1.38, my laptop needs 25.728s to boot;

so 3,5 seconds longer. What's the reason for that and can it be fixed?

Is it because of a protection mechanism against #Meltdown / #Spectre or another security vulnerability?
