I like it when my mages use phrase, "The magic which corrupts our world works by subverting the natural law with its own laws." It really helps to drive home that this is a #DarkFantasy and #HardFantasy setting, and that there is something both unnatural and inherently destructive yet objectively knowable about the #magic they're using.
