Theological paradoxes:

God is one. God is three persons.

Jesus is fully God. Jesus is fully man.

God is in control. Humans have free will.

God tests humans. Humans are responsible for their responses.

Demons temp us. We are responsible for our responses.

We are called to perfection. We are not capable of perfection.

We are called to correct injustice. Social justice does not save.

Ok first small rant on #sustainability in wine. When researching how to be greener(Catavino Tours), we looked at plastic bottles and tried to figure out how to get rid of them(more on that later) but we found that their footprint & basically the footprint of every other part of our companies tours were dwarfed by 1 thing: Flights

So today the #wine industry talking about how it needs to be more sustainable and more "green" but we still encourage journalists and winemakers to fly around the planet to taste wines together. Sure we need some "get our hands dirty" experiences to understand a place, but flying up from Portugal to London to taste a few wines seems like a very unfriendly and unnecessary activity.

I'd say COVID showed us one thing for sure, we may want to travel, but we can for sure get a lot done when we don't too.

The worst part for me is that I"m the CEO of a very flight-dependent company that wants to be more responsible. Yet something needs to change.
