Recent coffee haul. Been out of V60 filters for a while now so I took the oppurtunity to get another brewer and some beans from a new-to-me roaster. As much as I appreciate the portability of the aeropress I vastly prefer the results and the process of my V60 and I hope the Hario switch will make it even easier to get the results I want when I've barely woken up :blobfoxcomfycofe:

I’ve just brewed my first cup with a #Hario filter, after months of using cheap paper filters, and boy does it make a difference. First off, the Hario filers are so thin compared to the cheap ones, which slashed a good 30-40s off my drawdown time (total extraction time: 2m55s, instead of the usual ~3m30s). Second, the #coffee tastes really good! I know it’s not a result of the short extraction time because I tried coarser grinds before (extraction a little under 3min) and it was a big fail.

I've purchased a #hario #kyusu glass #teapot. It's the second Hario glassware we own besides the #syphon #coffee maker and we are so satisfied with the quality of their products, I absolutely recommend. The tea strainer insert is from china unfortunately despite they state the product is made in Japan.

Broke my MCM Pyrex #coffee carafe I do my pour overs in this morning. At lunch I bought a #Hario v60 and threw away my Melita cone. Holy wow. I could make good coffee with my Melita the Hario make AMAZING coffee.

Day 15 of the #Coffee #Advent calendar. It’s the weekend so I had time to use the #Hario TCA-5 #Siphon. Today’s roast is Kiganjo AA from Lippe based in Oslo, Norway.

This one was all-around enjoyable; no dominant scents and the brew ended up being a bit fruity but not overwhelming and also not acidic.

I was quickly one mug down and going back for to pour the rest.

@ricardojmv The taste of fresh grinded beans is superior, we had been forced to buy a coffee grinder because we've purchased expensive beans instead of powder by accident. A nice addition for us coffee junkies, this counts also for our #hario syphon we're very pleased with.

Day 9 of the #Coffee #Advent calendar and today I’m using the #Hario TCA-5 #Siphon again. Todays beans are Gakuyuini AA from da Matteo. The scent after ground is neat and a little sweet. The taste is juicy and a little sweet, almost as if the roast were inspired by fruit punch.
