Late night listening: Frank Zappa' at Harpur College, 10/29/72. Yes heads, THAT Harpur College, now known as Binghamton University. With the release of FZ's Waka/Wazoo box set this week, it seemed like an appropriate time to listen to his Petite Wazoo band performing at my alma mater on the tour that followed the recording sessions documented in the box. Pretty good audience tape with great playing and some nice weird moments.
