First bike ride of the year, and stopped by to visit with a local birder who has had a Harris' Sparrow at his yard feeder for the last couple of months. Many years since I last saw one of these! Hanging out with a flock of White-crowns.

Also a cismontanus junco. i.e. intergrade between Oregon and Slate-colored Juncos, originating in the Canadian Rockies breeding overlap zone.
Nice visit and pleasant hospitality!
