#Virginia #dogwood I planted in our #garden a couple years ago upon the death of my father due to #COVID19. This year it’s going to #bloom for the first time, just in time for the anniversary of his death.
The #tree is fitting because my dad always loved #springtime in the Virginia mountains, and the dogwood is the state tree and flower.
Requiescat in pace, Dad.

Der Rote #Hartriegel hatte schon an den sonnigen, warmen #Februar-Tagen vorwitzig erstes #Grün gezeigt, im dunklen, kalten, stürmischen, nassen #März aber verschreckt eine Pause eingelegt. Kaum schein jetzt einen Tag lang die Sonne, legt er sich wieder ins Zeug. #frühling
