This year's #mushroomhunting harvest was a huge success. Pacific yellow, yellowfoot/winter, & white #chanterelles. Hedgehogs & candycaps.
Was a bit disheartened seeing that many of the larger fruiting bodies had been harvested, so focused on their smaller counterparts. Walked a few miles, happily finding a couple pounds of the little "gi's", and then bam! down a ridge & under the huckleberry were hiding a beautiful flush of golden yellow friends.
