Unusual to see a general cargo ship going alongside at Navyard - their most frequent callers seem to be mainly ferries.

WATCH: Tug Svitzer Kent passes Trinity and Ha'penny Piers at Harwich, at around 6.40am, after assisting Stena Britannica, Wednesday 30 August.
Looks like superferry Stena Britannica has some machinery problems today, as she employed Svitzer Kent and Inchcolm to assist her into her berth at Harwich International.
She also employed tug Svitzer Sky to assist her when sailing.

WATCH: Long-Distance Ro-Ro Ferry: ML Freyja sails for the Baltic, around 10.30am on Monday. 28 August.
Most ferries travel relatively short distances, but this vessels route is a very different proposition.
ML Freyja makes a call at Harwich once every 9 or 10 days, while making a major round trip including calls at Cuxhaven, Paldiski, Turku, Bremerhaven, and Rotterdam and Rozenburg before returning to the UK.

WATCH: They Plough The Sea: Tug Barney plough dredging at Harwich, 23 August 2023.
Shallow-draught "shoalbuster" tug Barney at work today, close alongside Trinity Pier. This entails lowering a box-shaped plough, which you can see as she backs up, to a specific depth, then dragging it forward. The plough flattens the seabed, and collects spoil as the tug goes ahead, which then falls when the plough reaches deeper water.

WATCH: Stena Britannica passes Ha'Penny Pier at Harwich, as she sails from Harwich International (Parkeston Quay), 9am Monday 26 June, 2023.
Leaving the berth and passing through the Harbour today, she maintained a speed of between 7 and 8 knots - at the time of posting this video, she is now at sea, and making 17.5 knots (around 20mph) over the ground.
