I have the same number of followers on #Mastodon now that I had on #Twitter. Only 25… But I’ve had Twitter for years and Mastodon for just a few weeks. I’ve felt much more comfortable posting here, so that’s one reason. But primarily I’ve spent time on here searching hashtags and making connections. And then I’ve strategically used #Hashtags in my posts, so Mastodon will index appropriately and allow others to find me. #HashtagsAreYourFriend #HastagsAreSearchable #HashtagsCanBeFollowed
