Finished up a hat to match the fingerless mitts I made the other day! The pattern is 'Easy Slip Stitch Mitts' by Sandra Buzza. The yarn I used is: Berroco Ultra Alpaca Natural in Sunflower Seeds and Wild Rice. I took the slip stitch motif from the mitts pattern and made it into a matching hat! So fun and I LOVE the results!

I got the '200 Fair Isle Motifs: A Knitter's Directory' for Mother's Day this year and this is the first attempt using one of the motifs from the book. Probably not the best color choices, but it was still fun to do!

Here’s my current main work in progress. Despite all of the packing, I’m managing at least one stripe per day. It’s quite addictive and will be lovely and warm for cold Wellington weather. Pattern is ‘Full of minis’ and the coloured bands are handspun and chain plyed.

Finished a project! I focused in on this for the last few days in order to just get it done. My intention was to use up the alpaca yarn I had leftover from a shawl, and uhhh, I used about 60g and I still have about 60g left. Sighs. Whoops?

The pattern is Irma Hat, and I did the color changes myself.

One of my co-workers will become a dad, so I made a little hat for the little one. It has been gifted by now, so I can share the result with you. It's the Super Stretchy Baby Hat, modified to a CO of 88 stitches 😃
