Just before sunrise on January first 2019. Pre-pandemic, so I was amused by the crowd at the place I had chosen because it was not crowded enough to be called a photographer scrum, but because there was no parking, people had blocked the street into a traffic jam for kilometers to see the sun rise. Which is funny when you walked. Here's the first sunrise of the year over #Yokohama. I have more photos to edit, but these are the first two I grabbed. I brought my Nikon 300mm f/2.8 and my Pentax 67 165mm f/2.8, and while I was hating myself for choosing a 15kg camera bag during the hike home, it was the right call.
