I sent the nephew on ahead to set the next lock.
Oops. It turns out it's several miles 😮 but we haven't passed him, yet.
The #Hatton flight of locks are next, but they're still more than a mile away.
Oh, there's the nephew now, waiting under bridge 18. My husband just swung the bow close to the towpath without stopping so the nephew could hop on. We're only going 5 km per hour, but it's over 30 tonnes of steel to stop.
