The decision released this week as part of the #HaurakiGulfFisheriesPlan does contain some good news and it’s clear the Government is listening. But while the plan creates some #ProtectedAreas, it still allows trawling in large areas of the #Gulf. So this is not the end of our fight. The movement against destructive bottom trawling is strong and so is people power.
