Honoring a request by the Havasupai Tribe, the National Park Service has renamed a stop on the Bright Angel Trail in the Grand Canyon. The old name erased the Tribe's historic connection to the canyon.

' The Tribe says it has had an established reservation since 1880. But in this particular area, members were forcibly removed, with the last Havasupai Tribal member being forced out in the late 1920s .... '
