I just wished #HDSDI over #Fiber would've become the standard instead.

@liz Personally, I have an #HDMI - #Recorder and I'm still pissed that #HDMI was adopted and not #SDI / #HDSDI for cabling outside of professional studios.

Cuz it's a pain in the ass to remove the value-removing bs that is #HDCP...

You know what was needed to record shit before #HDMI? A #SCART cable and a #VCR!

I probably should have installed the intel-hdcp debian package, shouldn't I. #debian #linux #hdcp Perhaps it will stop the screen randomly going blank on my PVR. For now the workaround seems to be forcing HDCP 1.4
