Utterly stumped on solving this drive mount issue. Other drives have resized without issue, no lost files or mangled hashsums, but this one particular drive is giving me trouble... and nothing online gives a conclusive answer...

SSD’s should just be viewed as the Drive you put the Operating System/s on, but never depend on.

発注していたバックアップ用のＨＤＤが月曜日（2023年８月７日）の午前中に届く。
某大学の課題レポートの採点を中止し（←スイマセン）、いそいそと作業を開始するのだ。
まあ、余裕があればあれこれ高機能のＳＳＤやＨＤＤを準備するのですが、なにせ色々とやり繰りしないとダメなので、今回はこれが限界ですね。
ＳＳＤ（Gen.4）は発熱が凄い、温度が50度にならないように監視しながら、そろりとバックアップ作業なり。
ドライブは５つくっつけてます。
バックアップさえ終えることができれば、ようやく次の作業へ進むことができる。
うー、ようやくトンネルの出口が見えてきました。

If i am doing this for a while, it increases up to 150 MB/s and more. And i am reading different files, so it should be normally not the #ZFS #ARC.
But whats the reason then? Feels a bit like a dynamic #RPM and the #HDD is needing some time to increase that RPM.
Is there anybody who already had such a behavior and can explain it to me?

You may find out that @ubuntu #Ubuntu LTS already comes with all the applications you want and/or need out of the box [i.e. @libreoffice, @mozilla #Firefox & #Thunderbird, @videolan #VLC, ...) and those that may not be included even on a full install are just a few clicks away [i.e. #Steam]...
The nice part is that unlike #Windows, you can just install #Ubuntu even on an external #HDD / #SSD or use it as "Live" System like @tails ...
I'd say give it a try...
