@tentaclehead must be tricky finding any good up to date shaders for Unity built in. All the packs Iโve looked at lately are looking dated. Seems like everyone is working on #URP #HDRP
Having just released our announce trailer, it still blows my mind that we can render out something like that in-engine with ray-traced shadows, reflections and GI. Wait.... Is it that good ol' FPS Sample environment... in #Unity 2021.3 #HDRP ? Does it render? Yes it does!
Required a bit of love to upgrade from its original HDRP 4.x to 12.1 though, but in the end it's quite cool to see with new features (volumetric fog, cloud layer, etc)
Muzzle flashes are now being triggered from an animation event. User input next, then audio and blood effects.

I've been building out an animator controller for a fixed camera style horror game. Locomotion is working I'm just adding weapon stuff now, and will hook it up to player input next.
This is using an environment from Manufactura K4, with animations and a character from Profactor. The VHS post processing is Cathode again.
