Its no secret that alongside the #NHS the #tories have been defunding & trying to wreck public education in the UK, and for much the same reason(s);
to push those can afford it towards the private providers run by their chums (the political 'cover' that private provision is more 'efficient' is just a cyclical bit of mask wearing!)

Inspired by the intros that @EmmaKennedy is sharing, so… I am a the #headteacher of a wonderful #primary #school with an #SEND unit in a beautiful #suffolk market town. I have the most incredible 8yo daughter who was recently diagnosed with #autism. I love the #TorontoBlueJays, #ColchesterUnited and listening to #WW2 books. I’m over 45 and over 300lbs but I did the Virtual London Marathon in October to show my pupils that anything is possible and they joined me at the finish line!

I’m a #primary #headteacher living the world of #education in #cheshire. In my spare time I volunteer for Cheshire #search and #rescue as a Search Technician, Party Leader and Search Manager.
I enjoy being on two wheels, both on my #gravel bike and #mountain bike. More recently I’ve passed my A license and now a #motorbike rider as well. I particularly enjoy #biketrekking across the country #camping and, in 2023 hopefully Europe.
I have a wonderful wife and two children.
