It’s particularly worrying as the last record was only set three years ago. I decided to do my #cycling in the morning to avoid the peak. It was a route along the side of the #ExeEstuary and so outwards, there was a fairly strong #headwind from the #OnshoreBreeze but as soon I got to the turning point it became pretty easy.

There’s no gusting today and so it’s easy to remain steady on the #cycle.

There is a strong #westerly #wind and there is intermittent #sleet along with bright sunshine. #Cycling into such a #headwind was tough this morning and I was down a couple of #gears compared to normal and getting a face-full of little stinging ice particles along the way. Still, the #temperature is well above zero and so it’s not too slippery.
