Have you heard of health advocates? I am currently building a blog-post primer about what a health advocate is, and how you can find one.

Sometimes, in order to eventually be able to access coaching, a person first needs support in making sure that their mental/physical health or care needs are met fairly, accessibly and consistently. (This creates an initial baseline of wellness which supports my coaching to make a meaningful impact for you.)

Due to my skills and areas of focus, I would not be the right person to do the initial health advocacy role. And whenever this is the case and a potential client needs something I do not offer, I will always suggest making a referral to the right person or service. (The referral or sharing of information costs you nothing.)

One such type of referral process I am adding to my roster is referral to a health advocate or health advocacy service (for UK clients). As soon as I have finished writing up the resources I have found, I will put a long-read post onto my blog explaining what to do. I'll also share the details here on my page.

In the meantime, if you have a positive experience of working with a health advocate or health advocacy service, I'd really appreciate it if you have the spoons to comment below with anything that could be useful for others to know.

Other than that, watch this space, and I'll share as soon as I am able!
