Not the fairest comparison, but it does illuminate us about the potential impact that strong vs weak #RuleofLaw has on issues of #healthandenvironment.

To have their cake, and eat it too? #Thailand commissioned the construction, and anticipated operation of 4 new #coal pwrd energy plants 5 months after making a full-throated COP26 carbon neutrality commitment by 2050. It's govt. claims that new state-of-art combustion techn. will not impact emissions targets. Whether or not verifiable, this new system does not appear to factor in coal-induced #toxic air #emissions. 'Cheap' energy at what cost to #healthandenvironment?
