I’m continuing my journey on getting more familiar with #HTTP #APIs by reading related #RFCs. This time, I read the #HealthCheck Response Format for HTTP APIs on the suggestion of Stefano Fago. In this post, I’d like to summarize my reading.

I think I'll put the #docker #healthcheck for my #unbound #image into the #compose file instead of the #dockerfile. It's more user friendly, imho.

Saturday quick and dirty health check for a container running a web service on port 8080:

Saves you the effort to install curl on a container where you only have python3:
