A while ago on mastodon I got into a bit of an argument about as a poor model for overweight . Anyway, last week or so I got into a productive discussion as a side-discussion on Gelman's blog. Using on BMI to predict heart risk is a bad idea, but I have a much better proposed replacement. I call it "Adiposity index" and it's defined like this (this will be a several post thread)

Hold accountability for dangerous research work with no clear benefit especially when that work is designing new, novel pathogens to attack (specific) human cells and human cell tissues. Science is not removed from ethics! Bioethics must exist in Biotechnology! Human life has to be safeguarded from pathogenic enhancement that only aims to harm and hurt others. We must come to a consensus!
