I wasn't aware that Ivermectin had such a long history as a "miracle cure".

It is nothing less than a tragedy when people fall into such beliefs.

I do get the impression that this occurs often when people are disillusioned by healthcare systems that are limited in their ability to treat these conditions effectively. This poses a big challenge for health services.
