Here's T2: #HealthXPH is at a crossroads, in the face of multiple platforms. How do you envision the future for this community?

T1. #healthxph also led me to be involved in the Healthcare Social Media summits, where I had the chance to meet our community in person and hear inspiring stories from many folks. That got halted during the pandemic, sadly. I now wonder if these opportunities are possible again.

T1. #healthxph helped me professionally and personally. I first joined after finishing my rural doctor stint, as I was looking for networking opportunities and my career niche. It became a platform to represent the rural doctor voice, and soon, my health policy work.

From last night’s #HealthXPH tweet chat, some had signed up for Threads though they were mostly on a wait and see mode. I think the limit to trying out Mastodon is onboarding. It was too intimidating for some.

The “latest tweets” feed was not loading. It was all glitchy. I’m wondering if it’s because of the topic 😅.

@pixiecata this is interesting! I wonder if we can transition the #HealthXPH tweet chat here to Mastodon using this method. But for it to work, there also has to be a Lemmy instance?
