I watched 3 DAYS TO KILL last night. Either #AmberHeard is a really great actor, or everything Johnny said about her is true. (I know, I know) She's incredibly hot and deliciously evil in that movie. The perfect anti-hero. It's easy to see why he fell in love with her.

Behind on #MastoPrompt, so I wrote a verse or two.

Took a walk the other day,
Past a really cool farm.
I mean this place was sa-wheat!
They had a legion [of] dairy cows.
And the fields looked like they just smashed together all the grains they could think of.
I did notice, though;
It was completely rice-less.
Heard to believe, I know.

The ropes were bound tightly around my wrist and ankles, as the life and my will to live slowly drained from my battered and bruised body. Repeated blows came from the darkness with such brute force, hitting my body from every angle as I howled out in agony, pleading with them to stop.

My cries for help weren't heard from down here in the depths of the prison. It was a brutal place, where the most inhumane cruelty was the norm. This was the place they had brought me to die, guards taunting me by putting a wet hessian sack over my head, dragging me down to my pending doom. I'd been trained for this, although all the training could not prepare you to stare death in the face, beg for it to have mercy and release you from your agony. It was my only salvation, and I hoped that it would come soon.

Life as I knew it flashed before my eyes as I drifted in and out of consciousness. I see my wife's face, her blue eyes like saphhires and her golden brown hair as we walk hand in hand on the golden sands of the beach. The sound of the waves lapping up on the shore and the warmth of the tropical water, symbolic of the life we had planned. The warm blood running down my legs as they slice through my muscles and my ears ring as they pour water over the sack, struggling to take a breath.

"Tell us what we want to know, and it will all stop. The pain will stop and death will come to you swiftly."

I couldn't speak, but I defiantly shook my head.

I was behind the trees, digging graves,
When I heard the wind sweep up the hill,
Driving the rain ahead of it. The graves
Would be full of water in a matter of
Short minutes, and the bodies in the
Forest would have to wait for their
Informal burials. It wasn't what was
Planned for them or for me; it had
Happened too quickly, just like this
Weather out of the blue sky, and
Their dry and leathery skin now wet
And slimy, and starting to moulder.

Some people don't understand
The frustration,
The anger,
The despair,
The need for connection,
Compassion,
Humanity.
They've never been pushed aside
Ignored,
Forgotten,
They've never been dismissed,
Silenced,
Belittled.
They will never know what's it's like
Not to be #heard.

But to those of us who have,
We must band together,
To make our voices louder
Than those who who would disparage us.
A new dawn breaks
A new day begins
And we WILL claim it as ours.
