On the 3rd of February, AMASE will be welcoming Chloé Hayden to talk about her new book Different, Not Less, at an online event in collaboration with Lighthouse - Edinburgh's Radical Bookshop.

Chloé is an @actuallyautistic actor, writer, speaker and video-maker. Some of you will know her from her delightful turn as Quinni, in the reboot of #HeartbreakHigh - a role she helped to write, making it one of the most authentic portrayals of an #ActuallyAutistic character yet seen in mass media.

Zoe McIntyre from the AMASE committee will be interviewing her, with some questions submitted by AMASE members.

#HeartbreakHigh is excellent but wow, it's unreal to watch the ENTIRE CAST wearing EXACTLY the same things we were wearing in the 90s, and/or references to that time.

Well like most of the world I'm currently obsessed with 'Wednesday'. I love 'Elite' (Spanish with subtitles) for something deliciously trashy with plenty of eye candy. Also thoroughly enjoyed 'Heartbreak High' 📺

I finished #HeartbreakHigh today. Of course I liked the autistic (probably also adhs) character Quinni, also her nb friend Darren. They were a cute duo. Didn't like that the story was so oversexed. Are highschools like this today? I doubt this. And it's cringy because teens are played by grown-up twens with rather idealistic body-shapes. (This is nothing new in the genre though.)

#OhBrotherWhereArtThou - is very quirky and fun (a Coen Brothers Movie)

The remake of #HeartbreakHigh is a teen drama with diversity (not heavy going imo)

#BackToTheOutback animated but entertaining if you like that sort of thing for a change

#BadMoms is funny fluff (sometimes crude in a not bad way)

#Malcolm worth the occasional watch for a laugh
