Brilliant game of hockey tonight. Sydney Ice Dogs were ahead 1-2 at the end of the second. Then in the third my Sydney Bears got 5 unanswered goals. On top of a tonne of penalties to both teams, it was bloody hectic on the scoring bench keeping up with it all.

My Sydney Bears now have a 2-0 lead in the Wilson Cup against the Ice Dogs, 2 more games left to play later in the year.

Tomorrow, the Bears take on the Melbourne Ice. 5pm, Macquarie Ice Rink. #AIHL #HearUsRoar

Last night was my first time doing scoring at a hockey game (on top of being GameDay Manager). Everything went nice and smoothly thankfully.

I'll tell you what, PowerPlays go SO quickly when you're scoring. Blink and they're over. Timekeeping, announcing, penalty box gate minding, or just watching from the stand and some PP's can feel like they're taking an age.

I still think announcing is the most enjoyable role, but I've enjoyed all of them so far. #AIHL #HearUsRoar
