To my friends in the USA, heat is NOT, ever, your friend.

Australians largely grew up with melting bicycle tyres and burned feet, but too many in places like the urban US have had it easy and don't understand just how bloody hot it can get, especially those bits of infrastructure that have the sun on them for extended periods, like roads, footpaths, and railings.

Heat that just keeps on going, long after the sun has gone down.

I literally only walked to the co-op earlier and then passed out for four hours when i got back, dripping sweat.

I drank a litre of water in one go when i woke up, took 2 paracetamol, and have my fan on. I still have a dull headache.

You know it's summer heat wave when I sleep like shit at night and have series of horrible naps that make me feel like I have been cut full of tiniest scratches, had salt rubbed into every inch in my body, have a headache that wont leave, and my brain keeps skipping like a record in a horror movie.

Yet I try to take my naps so I could idk...
