Like everything these days my #Rheem #HeatPumpHotWaterHeater has a (kinda dodgy) app. They sent me an email touting their new and improved #Econet app.
Mistake 1- didn't simply update the app via the normal update process. The instructions included "uninstall old app, click this link to get the new one".
Mistake 2- failed to mention that it was only updated for iOS.
I noticed a vague reference in the email to the app store after not finding a new version in G Play & links all sent me to Apple.
