Jen and I took a walk #OnTheMoor this morning. As usual, we spooked a number of red grouse. Today (11th August), these animals, which are unique to the British Isles, are considered wild birds; tomorrow (the so-called #GloriousTwelfth), they are considered game. Keep your heads down, chaps! #HebdenBridge

Just been made aware of "Wuthering Bytes" Technology Festival at Hebden Bridge 25 Aug to 3rd Sept. More info https://witheringbytes.com There is an #OpenSource camp, talks and workshops. A bit of a trek from #Hitchin but looks like a really interesting event!
