@mazeldon does anyone know about apps/digital calendar add-ons/etc for getting reminders about upcoming dates (anniversaries/memorials) in the ?

what I want most is an integrated calendar app so I can add reminders in either the Gregorian or the Hebrew calendar, and I only have to use one app

I've looked into this a few times without finding what I want, but I figured asking people would be better than asking the internet

So I tried to translate the core hebcal algorithms to Elixir and I am getting incorrect results. This is going to be fun. I guess I'll just follow along the math with pen and paper and find where the error is...

The combines these two systems into a lunisolar calendar. 1 month = 1 cycle of the moon; 1 year = 12 lunar months; except that an additional month is added in every 2-3 years (total of 7 additional months over 19 years) to make up for that 10-11 day discrepancy between lunar and solar years. So, in the Hebrew calendar, months are tied to moon cycles (benefit of the Islamic calendar) AND days are tied to seasons (benefit of the Gregorian calendar).
