@factolvictor I used #obsidian publish for sharing #rpg content and session logs with players. I would prewrite character or location descriptions, with images, tables, etc.

After I described them I would publish them to the web for player reference later. And interlink them easily with session notes written during play.

It was expensive for me, though. So now I'm trying to switch to something similar using #hugo and #hedgedoc to enable collaborative editing, which obsidian lacked.

Tonight I worked on the documentation of #HedgeDoc and while it’s not the most fun I had with this project, it also not too tedious. Not finished, but created a good foundation that we can continue to improve on.

Par ailleurs, un inconvénient de #CodiMD et de #HedgeDoc . C'est la gestion des notes.

On ne peut pas les #ranger / #classer (ou alors il faut absolument m'expliquer comment)...
Ce qui peut rendre fastidieux leur recherche quand on commence à en avoir un grand nombre.

Vous me direz, ce n'est peut-être pas l'outil pour cela. Et je vous dirais... Bah pourquoi pas !? 😜 Il ne manque pas grand choses. Juste une petite #arborescence... 🙃

I am wondering how to setup a personnal HedgeDoc server for shared use. I have an OVHCloud web cloud offer but I am unsure on how to install a Docker image of HedgeDoc (https://docs.hedgedoc.org/setup/docker/).

So this is a bottle in the ocean. Any help or advice much appreciated.

🦔 Aujourd’hui il existe de nombreux outils pour prendre des notes en ligne et les partager avec sa communauté. Chez .Com1, nous avons adopté #HedgeDoc et l’avons mis à disposition des commoners à l’adresse pad.lescommuns.org.

C’est le service le plus utilisé de tous ceux que le collectif propose. En 2023, nous avons dépassé les 900 utilisateurices et les 13000 pads créés, soit une augmentation de 50% en 1 an !

It's probably just to do with my low-resource #VPS, but I don't have this problem with anything else...

In #Hedgedoc, if I paste something somewhat long, the socket connection breaks momentarily, giving me 502 Bad Gateway, then it reverts the paste when it reconnects about five seconds later. Then if I paste it again, it breaks again, but maybe actually keeps the paste (maybe one more try pastes it successfully).

Any tips?

hoy me desperté muy temprano así que voy a levantar una instancia de #hedgedoc en mi servidor para entretenerme...

✍️ Wer kennt es nicht? Man arbeitet zusammen an einer Abgabe und schickt sich unzählige Dateien hin und her. Das kann schon mal so seine Zeit dauern…

Zum Glück gibt es für solche Probleme Lösungen: Die Fachschaft betreibt eine eigene @hedgedoc Instanz, auf der Ihr zusammen an Dokumenten arbeiten und diese in Markdown formatieren könnt. Auch Diagramme und co. sind damit einfach möglich. In der Fachschaft selbst freut sich das Tool auch großer Beliebtheit! 🦔
