At least three people were critically injured in storm related incidents in the City - falling trees, mostly.
There are about 30,000 “customers” (billing addresses) in the City without power.
The VA Medical Center and Treasure Island are without power.
A lot of cancellations and delays at SFO

🎼 Here comes the rain again...
Like last week, worst of it will be in the wee small hours, around 3-5am. Similar rainfall estimates, but maybe windier - with gusts of winds possibly as much as 60 mph

Well, that was a not much of a pineapple, at least here in San Francisco. Thankfully. As always, better to be safe than sorry though.
Some minor flooding on streets, a few downed trees...

A bunch of stuff planned for Fri/Sat - from picnics (duh) to construction - has been cancelled, even indoor stuff. If you were going to be participating in something between now and Monday, check it’s still on.
Still not seeing any reports of significant issues in the inner SFBA, but we are just now moving into what was expected to be the worst of it.
In other areas there have been evacuations ahead of likely flooding and the mountains are clearly going to be a shitshow
NWS says storm impacts will persist into Fri morning. Strongest wind gusts (40-50 mph) are expected between now and midnight. Moderate to heavy rain will occur through Fri morn. 10-15% chance of thunderstorms. Rain totals will be around 1.5 inches thru Fri morn. Main impacts will be urban flooding, land/mudslides, downed trees, and power outages.

No problems yet, but the heavy rains are still to come
