As it stands I've spent almost all my gaming time this year on the #steamdeck. My series X has been used to watch Streaming shows !
The first serious Xbox gaming Ive done all year was this week playing #Bannerlord for the first time.

Mostly because #gamepass just had a lot of games but most didn't appeal to me and the real treasures I've finished long ago (shoutout to #hellbladesenuassacrifice ).

Don't get me wrong though

Just rolled the credits to #HellbladeSenuasSacrifice !! Such an awesome #Game. Can’t believe it took me this long to start playing it. Now I can’t wait for #Hellblade2 😀 #NinjaTheory

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is the story of a mentally ill woman on a mission to wrest her lover's soul from the bloody, twitching entrails of hell itself.

They apparently consulted with a number of experts about psychosis and did their best to represent it accurately though dramatically.
The story is well-presented and engaging.

The visuals are phenomenal (don't judge them by my screenshots, I have FSR enabled), although some of the screen effects are pretty overboard.

The gameplay involves solving perspective puzzles, listening to old norse audiologs about mythology, and of course stabbing dudes, while worming your way into the depths of Hel. IMO stabbing dudes was the least enthralling part of the game - unfortunately, it was a large part. I feel like it's telling that the section I liked the most was one where Senua broke her sword and had to traverse a number of areas unarmed before getting a new one.

Despite my nitpicks, I enjoyed the experience and will almost certainly play the sequel eventually.
