Boosts and CW: what are people’s strategies for this?

I’m a new user but even in the 10 days I’ve been here I’ve seen a dramatic decline in the use of CWs. And I’ve come across a lot of posts I would have boosted if they had a CW, but am reluctant to do so without one.

Do you link it in a new post with a CW? Just not engage with the post? Some other strategy?

Basic #MastodonNewbie question: Is there a way to create threads similar to the *site-that-shall-not-be-named*? I like that there are more characters available per toot (🤭) but that’s often not enough to summarize a new paper, for example. I find that 🐘threads are a little hard to follow/that the order gets messed up. #HelpAGirlOut
