Whats up with all the #hiddenmedia in #Mastodon ? I have my dashboard on chrome on MacOS and even when I click on photos I can't see anything but text, including my own posts.

#helpmastodon Every now and then I like to take a screenshot of odd or funny pics and then want to share it with you guys, gals, others.
The problem is that not all will upload as the size does not match the image or some such nonsense. How can I avoid this seemingly random endeavour?

For some reason all images are blurred. I can not see how to correct this. Everything was working a day ago. #helpmastodon

How to #HelpMastodon with #DotNet?

After some research & feedback I find two github projects interesting: Smilodon, a .NET ActivityPub server and Mastonet, a .NET client for the Mastodon API.

Based on Mastonet, one could develop .NET apps to help e.g. moderators with their work. For such apps to help, teams consisting of users (e.g. Mastodon mods), UX/UI designers and developers would have to be found. At the moment I haven't seen anything like that.

For now I have decided to join Smilidon.

Today I read that #admins and #mods of fosstodon invest 4 hours per day in fosstodon. In their spare time!

I think it's similar for other instances.

Support by money is good (I did that too). But that will not be enough, because money does not solve everything.

People are needed to support with admin and moderation.

People are needed to optimize tools for admin and moderation.

People are needed to organize this.

There are so many good people with so many skills here.
