Balfarg Henge, whose modern setting in the middle of a housing estate on the north-east edge of Glenrothes in Fife would be very alien to its ancient builders. Maelmin Henge (reconstruction)
“The reconstruction is based on the Milfield North henge and is around 4,000 years old. The original Milfield North henge was located in a field near to the reconstruction site. There are other henges located nearby too but these are only visible from the air. In the central area of the henge were three pits - two of which are thought to be graves.”

I found this relic from 2005, a bottle of "Sacred Vale" - Air from the #Thornborough henges (yes really) a slightly-batty-but-heart-in the-right-place idea to raise money for the Save Thornborough campaign. Beautiful morning for a walk along the Maelmin Heritage Trail.
This reconstruction is based on the late Neolithic/early Bronze Age Milfield North henge, located in a nearby field. It was one of many henges along the Till Valley, overlooked by the Cheviot hills.
