I agree that the committed Brexiters are continuing their demolition work. Rees-Mogg's #REUL bill is the latest attempt. With spineless Tory MPs (like my own in #Henley) willing to traipse into whatever lobby their whip tells them to, irrespective of the damage that will be done to their constituents, it's likely to be enacted.

All the more reason to stop focusing on the roof, & work out how we will repair the foundations & walls.

The good news is that there was no #Sewage Pollution Alert for Sandford Lock in #Oxford on 1st Jan 2023.

The bad news is that there has been at least one alert every day since then.

Very bad news for users of the Thames downstream of the lock, but probably good news for #ThamesWater shareholders.

Don't forget that #Henley Tory MP voted for this to be acceptable - it's not!

It's thought that John Howell (Conservative lobby fodder MP for #Henley) has long planned to retire at the next GE.
The latest prediction from Electoral Calculus will no doubt confirm that decision.
I suspect with 2 more years of Tory rule, that 3.3% margin will disappear.
