Since my last update, I've done another 73-mile week of training, and that went really well. However, I then caught a cold AND it got ridiculously hot outside, so I haven't run at all since Sunday. My symptoms are starting to improve, so I plan on getting in a short run after dark tonight. If that goes well, I'll pick up where i left off, pushing my long runs to Monday and Tuesday, before leaving for #DragonCon on Wednesday. #ultrarunning #HennepinHundred

So 2022 was big costume and prop making year for me. One month in, and 2023 is shaping up to be more focused on my other main interest, #UltraRunning. I just signed up to run the #HennepinHundred, a 100 mile race along the Hennepin Canal in Illinois this October. I will still work on props and costumes, but I expect training for this is going to consume most of my free time. It'll be my first attempt at 100 miles. The farthest I've run in a single effort so far is 100K or about 63 miles.
