Somehow this scene is a mood. In my case after finally settling into the groove in my day job, it's very much a mood with the dust finally clearing around me and me coming out of the smoke looking just as dead-tired and bloodied as Harry.

That said, I love this version of 'Henry V', I love this single-shot scene, and I always look at the teeny things that stand out. Like how a dead nobleman is carried on the shoulders of surviving nobility (or aristocracy). How the Dauphin and Henry don't stand out from the rest of the soldiers (well, the Dauphin more so than Henry). Patrick Doyle (the film's composer) starting the hymn before the chorus picks it up and builds up on it.

And a twelve-year-old Christian Bale being the dead boy Henry carries across the field.

Fun anecdote: In 2020, I was part of a zoom production of Henry V.

Aside from portraying multiple characters each, through the clever use of hats, we also had some super high tech effects, particularly for the scene involving the assault with a leek. (Secret: We actually had 2 stunt leeks and inventive webcam angles!)
