A new ink from #Herbin has arrived to me! I love this brand. Each shade is beautiful and unique in its own way; sadly, the photo does not convey this beauty.

And for about 20 years, I used violet ink in my #fountainpens, usually #Pelikan 4001 Violet, but also J. #Herbin Violette Pensée, until I discovered that Mrs. Stewart's Concentrated Liquid Bluing could be used full strength in a #fountainpen and was made of Prussian Blue, the most gorgeous midnight blue color ever. So, 10 years ago, I made the switch.
