The Biden Admin pushed heavily to get everyone vaccinated. But Right Wingers simply refused to take ANY reasonable restrictions/precautions. The best he could hope for was that enough "reasonable" people would get vaccinated to achieve #HerdImmunity. This is #SocialMurder and there is no less severe word to call it, only worse.

I grew up in NL and the #ableism is horrific. I was kicked from schools for being chronically ill. I was ridiculed by doctors. I was denied care. I was subjected to degrading tests by the government for a chance at a measly benefit. I was bullied, hated, forcibly pushed away from society.

The first covid speech in the NL spoke of #HerdImmunity. Cold shivers down my spine. Obvious it was going to end like this.

We never got to #HerdImmunity & never will because unlike Smallpox, Measles, or Polio, #Covid #immunity wanes fast and the virus evolves fast.

We live in a world where, for years at least, many people will get a Covid #vaccine *at least* annually. Almost everyone will get infected repeatedly, mostly not noticing it & often just having Yet Another Cold. Sometimes getting #LongCovid & occasionally dying.

People taking the fewest precautions roll the dice more often, have more risk.
