It's nice that this is making headlines: repairing old buildings takes specialist skills and they've been undervalued and underpaid to the point of near extinction.

Let's change that! We'll need to, in order to preserve about half a million traditional Welsh buildings we can't lose.

📰 "Largest ever donation to English Heritage will fund apprenticeship programme"

Specifically, #EnglishHeritage is looking to save the skill of #flint working from extinction by training a new generation of specialists - amazing!

The £11m donation will primarily benefit properties across #Bedfordshire, #Cambridgeshire, #Essex, #Hertfordshire, and #Suffolk.
