Maybe I am just a recluse with a deep need for quiet and solitude who enjoys contemplating life. I thought that meant I was an aspiring hermit.

As a Linux user I have virtually worked with fascists. The shame of it. Fascists are not nice people. Many people are not 100% nice. Some do not even know they are unkind, discriminatory, cliquey, partial, privileged etc.

Interested to hear from #single people - whether life’s #hermits or those still seeking love - who have moved from cities to #rural areas and successfully built a new life. From 1867 - 1899 John Smith, otherwise known as The Hermit of Erving lived in a cave just below where I was painting.

The routine is to put some water in the reservoir of the rice steamer, water and grain and veggie powder and salt in the bowl in the steamer basket, and set the timer. One then does morning service (sometimes this is in the afternoon) and a meal is ready by the time this is over.
