Yesterday heard a #HermitThrush singing by the ponds. Loveliest of songs! A few winter here in the Willamette Valley, but they only breed higher in the mountains and this may be the first time I've heard one sing in the lowlands. With such a chilly spring this bird is probably ready to be on territory at high elevation, but just waiting around for the weather to warm up a little bit please?
