In the small central Pennsylvania town of Carlisle is the grave of Randy Shughart. He was an Army Delta operator, in the "Blackhawk Down" battle in Somalia. When Mike Durant's Blackhawk was shot down, Shughart and fellow operator Gordon volunteered (repeatedly) to be dropped at the crash site to defend the crew, knowing that they would have no backup or resupply.
