This is my husband when he was in Kuwait.He was in the Navy.Then he reenlisted in the National Guard after he did his thing in the Navy He was doing his two weeks,then 9/11 happened and they called him up to serve again,my heart sunk.But we both made it thru it Most frightening and stressful thing we had to go thru.One brave handsome loving guy.

Sad news from #Boston one of our local #black #heros has died at 94. #RIP Mel King.
I knew Mr King through the South End Technology Center where I taught Linux and Inkscape and talked often with Mr King about politics and fighting for justice. Someone I really looked up to and admired for his tenacity and strong heart; and forgiving me my terrible nativity with kind correction when I needed it.
