Playing #HeroScape today for the first time in over a decade after I moved away from the group of people I learned the game with. It’s still super fun! Gotta do this more often.

The more I think back to #HeroScape, the more I remember how it did away with a lot of frustrations in miniature wargaming. I'm kind of thinking that I should replicate that in my own wargame design.

I wish they hadn't killed HeroScape :( There was a crowdfunding campaign for a publisher to make more of it last year, but they didn't meet the quota. It was my first war game. #ProjectSDDWM log: quick repaint of three #Heroscape #AnubianWolves bases. I might repaint their "faces" too. I don't know... maybe.
